About the Program

Working virtually doesn't have to mean working less effectively. In this session you'll learn to think differently about meetings with your team, your peers, and those you serve — and you'll take away lessons and tools to help make every meeting matter.

In this session, you will:

  • Learn how to make all your meetings more productive.
  • Explore ways to run larger events and board meetings that can be more effective virtually than they were in person.
  • Think about “experiments” you might try to get more from your team when you gather

About the Speaker

Matt Homann
Founder + CEO
Filament

Matt Homann's passion is helping people think, meet and learn together better. A life-long entrepreneur (and recovering lawyer), he's working to reinvent the meeting as the founder and CEO of Filament. He's also the founder of Invisible Girlfriend and Boyfriend. Though he suffers from a self-diagnosed case of "Idea Surplus Disorder," his ventures share one thing in common: a focus on finding creative ways to solve difficult problems with smart people.  Matt grew up in Highland, Illinois, but now lives in St. Louis with his wife Jessica and daughter Grace.
