About the Program

Join AFP St. Louis Chapter for our NEW annual update meeting, to be held each spring.  AFP Chapter President Lyndsey Reichardt and President-Elect Theresa Fleck will share our accomplishments from 2020, our goals for 2021, and future plans for AFP St. Louis. Then, fundraising expert Martin Leifeld will present on goal setting and goal management. In this presentation Martin will suggest that if you grow in awareness of, and accept yourself as a world game-changer, your personal and professional goal setting will rise in importance in your life.  It can fuel your impact in the world and your joy in living.  Martin will challenge you to expand your self-understanding and to embrace goal setting as a means to keep first and foremost what matters most to you.

Martin Leifeld

Martin Leifeld, author, coach, consultant, and speaker, is a founding member and chairperson of the board for World Game-Changers, C.I.C. Martin is a member of the board of Ten10, LLC; serves as Fellow, Eight Principles of Sustainable Fundraising; and is on the Thought Leadership Team for The Change Leader, Inc. He directed the raising of over $500 Million dollars during his 24 years tenure in the St. Louis area and authored FIVE MINUTES FOR FUNDRAISING – A Collection of Expert Advice from Gifted Fundraisers. provides nearly 125 videos about leadership and fundraising. His experience includes fundraising and leadership roles at University of Missouri – St. Louis and Saint Louis University. At UMSL, he led a dramatic increase in fundraising, averaging $26.4 million per year. Martin was named the 2018 Outstanding Fundraising Executive by AFP St. Louis and was selected as the 2020 Millard S. Cohen Lifetime Achievement Award recipient from St. Louis Public Radio.

We use the Zoom platform.  You will want to download the Zoom software before the meeting time.  Upon entering the meeting, please be sure that your microphone is muted until you want to talk in order to cut down on interference between your speakers and microphone.

The meeting will be recorded.  Presentation documents (in PDF form) will be distributed after the meeting if applicable.
