Ever feel like you could use a sounding board for fundraising ideas? Want to connect with other consultants working in the region? This is where affinity groups come in! We're here to help you connect with your fundraising folks in the greater St. Louis area.

What's an Affinity Group?

Think of it as your personal network of fellow nonprofit professionals. You might share the same sector (arts, education, etc.), job title (Executive Director, consultant, annual giving, development director), or even just a geographic location like St. Louis or St. Charles.  The key thing is you have something in common – the unique challenges and triumphs of working in the nonprofit sector.

These are the people who understand the pressure of juggling tactics and strategies to fulfill your mission and achieve your vision. They'll be your biggest supporters and fellow travelers on this journey.

Want to Start Your Own St. Louis Area Group?

The good news is, these groups are built by passionate volunteers, not by any one organization. At AFP St. Louis, we are simply a hub for sharing about the groups and providing resources for getting started. If you can't find an existing group that's a perfect fit, consider starting your own!
