AFP St. Louis Code of Conduct
AFP St. Louis is dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age, national origin, or religion. We do not tolerate harassment in any form. Additionally, sexual language and imagery is not appropriate for any AFP St. Louis venue. Presenters or participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from AFP events without a refund at the discretion of event organizers.
Harassment includes, but is not limited to:
- Verbal comments that reinforce social structures of domination related to gender, gender
identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size,
race, age, religion; - Sexual images in public spaces;
- Deliberate intimidation, stalking, both in-person and online;
- Harassing photography or recording;
- Sustained disruption of talks or other events
- Inappropriate physical contact
- Unwelcome sexual attention;
- Advocating for, or encouraging, any of the above behavior.
Health and Wellness Policy
AFP St. Louis is committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment for all attendees. Participants who are experiencing symptoms of illness are encouraged to stay home. Attendees are welcome to take personal health precautions, including wearing a mask, based on their individual needs and comfort level.
