Covid-19 Policy for in-person events
For all in-person events, we will include a checkbox in the registration process that states the following: By registering for any in-person AFP St. Louis event, attendees will be asked to adhere to all facility, local, regional, and national COVID-19 mitigation requirements and restrictions.
Participants will agree to comply with any mask mandates or social distancing requirements that may be in place. Additionally, participants will not hold the venue, AFP St. Louis, or AFP Global liable for any COVID-19 exposure that may occur.
AFP St. Louis remains committed to the health and safety of its members, friends, and everyone who chooses to participate in our events. To ensure the health and safety of all of our guests, all participants must be free of COVID-19 symptoms. We ask that you respect the decisions of those who still mask without mandates. Cancellation of registration due to a positive COVID-19 test or for anyone experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 will be handled on a case-by-case basis. If you have concerns or questions, please contact the chapter administrator at [email protected].
When participants check-in for an in-person event, they may choose to color-code their interaction preferences:
- Green - Handshakes
- Yellow – Elbows Only
- Red – Social Distance
AFP will also communicate the need for ongoing interaction consent, no matter what color code participants have chosen it is appropriate to ask before interacting.
